Health Canada’s sampling and evaluation program has determined that the recalled children’s costume does not meet the flammability requirements under the Toys Regulations.
The affected product does not meet microbial contaminant limits as specified by the Good Production Practices requirements of the Cannabis Regulations. However, the probability of serious adverse health consequences is remote.
The recalled products do not meet the child-resistant packaging requirement for refillable vaping parts required by Part 2 of the Vaping Products Labelling and Packaging Regulationsunder the Canada Consumer Product Safety Act.
The recalled chests are unstable if they are not anchored to the wall, posing a tip-over and entrapment hazard than can result in serious injury or death to children. The chests do not comply with the performance requirements of the voluntary industry standard ASTM F2057-19.
The toecaps in the shoes may not meet CSA specification requirements related to impact resistance, posing a crush hazard.
